Plasma-Sprayed Bores: Instead of traditional heavy iron liners, this block uses a 0.15 mm "mirror-bore" plasma coating. This reduces weight, improves cooling efficiency, and reduces friction between the piston rings and the cylinder wall.
Closed-Deck Design: The VR38 block features a closed-deck construction, providing maximum structural rigidity to handle high boost pressures and high torque loads.
High-Strength Main Bearing Caps: Includes factory main caps with a 2-bolt plus 2-bolt side-bolted configuration for superior crankshaft support under high RPM.
