What started as a passion back in 2009 has grown into a life’s dedication—one built on sacrifices, countless late nights, and absorbing every piece of knowledge down to the finest catalog detail.

​I want to share an honest look at what’s been happening behind the scenes, the realities of staying independent in this industry, and where things are heading.

Running an independent specialist operation is completely different from a large corporate dealership or parts counter.

​Real Risk: When I hold rare or discontinued inventory, it is backed by my own blood, sweat, and physical capital. There is no corporate safety net, no infinite bankroll, and no option to blindly return unused stock.

​The "Ghost Pricing" Trap: Many online catalogs still list outdated, low prices for parts they haven't held in years, only to cancel orders when the item turns out to be discontinued. Holding physical, verified stock in-hand—safely stored, inspected, and ready—comes with real holding costs, space requirements, and financial risk.

​Irreplaceability over Convenience: The reason I maintain strict policies on handling and shipping certain fragile or rare items is protection. When a 20-plus-year-old discontinued component is lost or destroyed in transit, money cannot replace it—it is gone from the community forever.

​Relocations & Overhead Shifts: Navigating unexpected shop moves, local ordinance changes, and space constraints has forced constant adaptation just to keep these parts safe and accessible.

​Physical Health & Environmental Setbacks: From fighting off severe health issues that took me out of commission to dealing with physical warehouse risks during bad storms, managing this alone means carrying every single burden personally.

​Unbalanced Partnerships: Over time, giving away hard-earned expertise, time, and rare parts for vague promises of support or quick social media mentions has taken a toll. Moving forward, my energy and inventory must be protected for those who truly respect the work.
