This pivot ball is compatible with most push-type 5-speed manual gearboxes (FS5W71C, FS5W71E, and FS5R30A) found on small-to-medium displacement Nissan platforms:
S-Chassis:
Silvia / 180SX / 240SX (S13, S14, S15) equipped with CA18DE/DET, SR20DE/DET (5-speed push-type), or KA24E/DE.
R-Chassis / Skyline:
R32 / R33 / R34 equipped with RB20DE/DET or RB25DE (push-type setups).
Z-Chassis:
Z31 300ZX (VG20ET / VG30E / VG30ET).
Other Nissan Platforms:
Laurel (C33, C34, C35)
Cefiro (A31)
Leopard (F31)
Important Compatibility Exceptions & Notes
Pull-Type Clutches (R33 / R34 RB25DET & RB26DETT):
This pivot ball will NOT fit factory pull-type transmission setups (such as the R33/R34 GT-R FS6R30A or later R33/R34 RB25DET push-to-pull setups). Pull-type setups do not use a standard release fork pivot ball.
Note: If you have pull-to-push converted an RB25DET/RB26DETT box, verify the total height needed before installation.
6-Speed S15 (FS6R92A):
The factory S15 6-speed transmission uses a different pivot ball height and fork design. 30537-RS540 is meant for 5-speed boxes.
RB25DET / VG30DE(TT) Big Gearboxes (FS5R30A Push Type):
Factory push-type RB25DET (R32 / early R33) and Z32 300ZX NA/Twin Turbo transmissions generally require a taller pivot ball (NISMO 30537-RS581, which is ~48mm/M12 thread depending on the casing). Double-check thread diameter (M10 vs M12) before installing.

A core charge is a refundable deposit included in the price of select parts. It ensures that your old/used unit (the "core") is returned to us for remanufacturing or recycling. Once we receive your core in acceptable condition, the core charge is fully refunded. The exact core charge amount varies by item and will be listed in the product description.
