R34 Fitment Depends on Your Radio and HVAC Layout
This faceplate can be used across R34 Skyline models, including GT-R, GT-T, and GT/25GT applications, when equipped with the standard radio mounting and HVAC layout that uses this separate faceplate. It is not limited to a GT-R chassis. The Series 2 finish may differ from the trim originally fitted to earlier cars.
- Optional radio packages with lower HVAC placement: This faceplate is not used with layouts that relocate the HVAC controller lower and eliminate the need for this separate surround.
- OEM optional double-DIN radio configurations: This faceplate is not used with factory optional radio assemblies that replace or eliminate the separate faceplate. This restriction concerns the console configuration, not simply whether a radio is double-DIN.
- Converting to the standard faceplate layout: The standard R34 radio brackets are required to use this faceplate. The faceplate alone is not a complete conversion kit.
Before ordering, compare your existing radio surround, HVAC controller position, and mounting brackets with the standard R34 arrangement. Check part number 68260-AB100 against your intended setup, especially when converting from an optional radio package.
