Nissan R-Chassis (Skyline) Complete DBW Conversion Kits

OUTSIDER GARAGE has developed a complete DBW adapter kit for many 90's era Nissan Engine/Chassis Platforms for OEM and Aftermarket manifolds. Bring your RB/SR/JZ into the 21st century and experience the benefits of Electronic DBW Throttle system. No need for that old IACV or AAC with this setup! DBW allows for exact and precise throttle control without using timing or external valves to control idle speed.

NOTE: Basic kit includes Bosch throttle body, Nissan 350z pedal and manifold specific adapter. Photos show kit with all add-on options. Build your kit for your chassis with the parts you'd like.

The Benefits of Drive By Wire (DBW):

• "Point and Shoot" idle control. Program what you want your idle speed to be and the throttle will work automatically to maintain that idle speed.
• Eliminates the need for aging, dirty idle air control valves that can be a costly to replace and a nightmare to tune properly.
• Eliminates air leaks and "throttle sticking" that can be found in cable driven throttle body applications. Having the shaft seals leak and cause boost issues is never fun, neither is having a throttle cable seize in the open position!
• Improve throttle response via programmable ramp rates vs throttle size. 
• Cruise control - yep, on a manual transmission - pretty cool for highway use.
• Automatic throttle blips on downshifts and many more race specific functions.

• Popular Chinese made sheet metal manifolds with 90mm throttle body flange (86mm x 90mm bolt pattern) (ISR/Otaku/Zerofab/Deep Motor, etc)
• Greddy/Freddy (Cast) manifolds with Q45 Throttle Body flange (Fits RB, JZ and other manifolds)
• Plazmaman manifolds with 78mm square bolt pattern)
• Hypertune manifolds with 77mm square bolt pattern)

Adapt a Bosch 76MM DBW throttle body to the following:

• Popular Chinese made sheet metal manifolds with 90mm throttle body flange (86mm x 90mm bolt pattern) (ISR/Otaku/Zerofab/Deep Motor, etc)

Adapt a Bosch 74MM DBW throttle body to the following:

• Popular Chinese made sheet metal manifolds with 90mm throttle body flange (86mm x 90mm bolt pattern) (ISR/Otaku/Zerofab/Deep Motor, etc)
• Plazmaman manifolds with 73mm square bolt pattern)

NOTE: Most of our adapters are o-ring sealed to both manifold and throttle flange surfaces, o-rings are provided. 

NOTE: The Factory (OEM) Nissan ECU will not work with DBW. To adapter DBW, you will require a aftermarket ECU/ECM. Please make sure your ECU/ECM is capable of running DBW before ordering.
