Temperature valve opening- Nismo: 62 C- OEM: 76.5 C
Nismo Low-Temp Thermostat allows the radiator valve to achieve a lower temperature opening at 62C (Standard = 76.5C). This promotes earlier coolant circulation inside the engine, reducing the power loss caused by rising coolant temperature during high speed driving at a racetrack. The valve opening temperature is set lower to within the vicinity of the threshold valve where a rich mixture boost for a low temperature condition would be triggered.
PRODUCT NOTES:
When the air temperature is low, such as during winter, the temperature of the water within the engine will not quickly rise, resulting in reduced interior heater performance
JDM to US License plate adapter bracket
